My follow Liberians, when will we learn how to co-exist with each other as Liberian?

My follow Liberians, when will we learn how to co-exist with each other as Liberian?

When are we going to accept each other irrespective of our ETHNICITY and RELIGIOUS ORIENTATION?

When will we put our country (Liberia) in the front seat, and let Hatred and Jealousy take the back seat?

When are we going to treat tribalizism as a hate crime in Liberia?

And above all, is the hatred helping or hurting our country (Liberia).

After a decade of civil unrest in Liberia, it is very troubling to see some of our Liberian brothers living in the dark-world because of their failure to see the light, even after been introduced to it. Ironically, it's our so-called "Educated Liberians" who are always involved in making statements that have the propensity to undermine the fragile peace, security and our national reconciliation.

It is a conventional-wisdom, that if anyone decides to run for a public office will meet lots of diverse challenges along the way. I don't find any problem with people criticizing a politician because, that is the nature of modern politics. Although, I, like many others had some reservations about the merit and de-merits of Pro. G.V. Kromah candidacy, which I did discuss with some friends and stake-holders of our community both here in the USA and Liberia. But I couldn't bring that out on this debate because, I thought the venue and the timing of this debate wasn't conducive. It was unfavorable in my view because, in the wake of this kind of heated debate, anything we Mandingo say about each other regardless of the objective will be used by our detractors as a weapon to fight us. And that is beyond Pro. G.V. Kromah senatorial bid. Brothers and Sisters of our noble Mandingo community, friends and sympathizers, it will be counter-productive for
Us to join the people who hearts are deeply rooted with anti-Mandingo/Muslim sentiments to fight your own people. Let's look above and beyond our disagreement and look at our community as the BIGGER PICTURE.

My message to those flunkies politicians like Mr. Tuon and Mr. Zazay is that, the politics of Ethnocentricism and Religious hatred are not the way forward. It's not a progressive mode because, we the Liberian Mandingos/Muslims will remain restless and relentless to react to any action that will be an anti-Mandingo / Muslim sentiment in Liberia. We have the EDUCATION, RESOURCES and the MEN-POWER. We can go on and on with it for another hundred (100) years, there will be no winner. One may
Claim to be a winner, but, who's the loser by all accounts? It's our country (Liberia) that
we all endeared.

Those who are forward-thinking, patriotic, nationalistic and progressive-minded, my message to you is, the way forward is for us to be able to transcend all ethnic and religious barriers that continue to retard our progress as Liberian. People should ascend to political power base on their qualifications and electabilities. No one is qualify to deprive another Liberian of their birth right to run for any position under the constitution of Liberia, except by special guidelines set by a constitutionally qualified election commission. If the election guidelines qualified anyone to run for a position, it's only the will of the Liberian people through the ballot box that can deny that person the position. I think we need to be bit patience and let the way of the people to prevail come November.

In my view, no patriotic Liberian will be willing to be at the vanguard of anything that will threaten the fragile peace that our people enjoy today. So, it's very important for us to know the true identities of these perpetrators.
