Analyzing Secretary,Lassana Bamba’s Comprehension Skill
and Setting the Record Straight.
By: Abraham Turay
30 November, 2011
Ladies
and Gentlemen of Minnesota Mandingo Association, I greet
you with peace, love, and unity restored in our
community. Couple of days ago, I wrote an article
recommending some possible changes in the current
leadership due to what I termed ‘incompetent leadership
skill’ on the part of the President. That article did
not go down well with the President and his officials
even though it was a mare recommendation for change in
our community. The administration responded to my
article with three articles written from the President’s
camp.

Runaway V.P. Looks Down on Women in
Braiding Shops
By: Lassana Y. Bamba, Jr.
28 November, 2011
Few
days ago, Mr. Abraham Turay, a one-time Vice President
of our dear Minnesota Mandingo Association who
unceremoniously deserted his post to seek greener
economic pastures in Liberia, made some careless and
disparaging remarks against our hardworking community
leaders, especially our illustrious President, Hon.
Mohamed Enzah Dorley. In his mindless tirade, Mr. Turay
accused President Dorley of, among other things, being
incompetent, and being popular only “in hair braiding
salons.

Hon. Kromah, could be a formidable candidate in light of
his knowledge about the community. Supporters are urging
him to enter the race as soon as possible and if he
does, he will bring with him a vast experience in
community development. It is not clear at this moment if
President Mohamed Dorley will seek second term. If he

It is usually around the end of summer specifically

everyone is asking to give out their shift at work only
to be part of those memorable functions. At this time,

fellow, a leading political philosopher, developing
something called ‘the third universal theory, outline in

extent. He established what he called ‘ Al-Jamahiriyya’

The Dilemma of the Liberian Political
Elites
By: Nvasekie N. Konneh

I
was sitting with my brother and his wife few days ago.
After discussing our family matters, the issue of the
Liberian elections, CDC versus the UP, came up. My
brother is not a UP member but he strongly supports the
party. My brother and I have always been on the opposite
sides politically and that dates as far back as Doe's
time. The only time I can say my brother and I hold
similar view is about Charles Taylor.
According to my brother, "it's too risky to trust CDC
and George Weah with our future."
