It is no secret that the elements of Liberia's ruling
Unity Party are agents of destruction and financiers of
war. Over the last nearly six years, since the coming to
power of President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf; the Liberian
opposition, led by the Mighty Congress for Democratic
Change, has done everything to preserve the peace and
stability of Liberia, realizing and believing that our
nation can only prosper by ensuring that Liberians live
by the sacred and inalienable tenets of democracy.

THE DIVIDENDS OF GOOD GOVERNANCE
By: Abu Kamara
24 May, 2011 It
has always been a subject of debate that those who form
part of a given Government cannot make objective
analysis on issues concerning such a Government. With
this in mind, most politicians as well as technocrats
would prefer to remain at the background and watch
developments as they unfold. Yes, if you don’t want to
take punches, it is better to be a spectator and allow
those who don’t give a “hoot’ to blow the trumpet. But
this time, I dare to go on the firing line with a
prepared mind to absorb criticisms of all sorts.

employment/unemployment, health care and many other
issues, political parties and politicians take different
positions and campaign on and it’s left with the voters
to choose which of the arguments on both sides they
