Candidate, Mr. Molley Kamara, (Gbechi) Endorses Rival, Mr.
Kafumba Kromah

 On
December 5, 2011, I made an announcement that I am joining
the race for MMA President. Afterward, I explored the
community, by outreaching prominent community members,
business owners, and religious leaders for their supports
and guidance, as I embark on the journey. Truly, I got their
unflinching supports, as anticipated and promised. However,
after weeks of vigorous outreaches and other means of
contacts with the community, to clinch the office of MMA’s
president; today, I have decided to suspend my campaign for
president to focus on other priorities that have just come
up. And as I leave the race, I will not leave my numerous
supporters in limbo just like that. As they stood by me,
when I announced my intention to run for president, I will
stand by them to support and elect a candidate who I believe
has stronger moral values and convictions, and also has our
community and its people at heart.
Giving the above ladies and gentlemen, I am deeply honored
to endorse Mr. Kafumba S. Kromah as the next president of
MMA, by throwing all of my supports behind him. And I
encourage all my supporters to not only support Mr. Kromah,
verbally, but to come out massively on elections day, to
ensure that we vote for him.
Mr. Kromah earns my respect and the community’s respect, you
will all agree with me. He is married to a fine woman, with
two children. Community wise, his achievements are
remarkable and unquesitonable; he is a co-founder and former
vice president of MMA under former president Bangalee
Trawally; a ranking member of MMA’s constitutional review
committee ; a member of President Musa Kamara’s inaugural
committee and a current editing manager of the online news
publication, MandingoNations. Academically, he holds a
Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Law
Enforcement, and presently pursuing a Master’s of Science
degree in Public Safety Administration.
Professionally, he is a fulltime Public Safety/Corrections
Officer for the State of Minnesota; a part-time Safety
Manager at a residential treatment facility (Andrew
Residence), and a licensed Police Officer in the State of
Minnesota. Mr. Kromah is trustworthy; and the true nature of
leadership is trust. I am confident that Mr. Kromah will
restore dignity, hopes and true leadership in our community.
Finally, let’s come together, ladies and gentlemen to ensure
that this MAN OF HONOR AND INTEGRITY is elected the next
president of Minnesota Mandingo Associations (MMA).
