24 February, 2011
When
the Liberian civil war ended with the call for a Truth
and Reconciliation Commission, some Liberians and the
entire international community welcome the idea as an
opportunity that will close that ugly chapter of
Liberia, through healing and restorative justice. The
commission has long since shut its gates and while the
debate on its report is forgotten in many quarters,
some, including the Supreme Court and hosts of some
radio talk-shows still consider it worthy of discussion.

done many things in life but the one thing many people

Many people think he’s embarking on the hardest role
he’s ever played. That new role for the Balawala front
man is politic. As an entertainer turned politician,
Kekura Kamara’s campaign was formally launched on

A Tribute to Nva Sa Kaifa Kamara
By: Abu M Kamara
01 February 2011
At
the hearing of death news, Muslims are enjoined to say
Ina lilahi Wa Ina Elhaih Rajuun . Cruelly translated,
this means from Him we come, and unto Him we shall all
return. Such are the words that most of us have uttered
ever since the sudden news of Nva sakaifa Kamara’s death
broke out. These Kalimats or words do not necessarily
prevent any emotional trauma that we experience on
hearing such a heart shaking news, but at least serve as
reminder that this life will one day certainly come to
an end.
