Mohammad Toure
Wins Big in Chicago, Illinois

April, 23, 2009
On Sunday, April 19, 2009, Mr. Mohammad Toure defeated his opponents in the Presidential election for the Organization of Liberian Community in Illinois. Our sources revealed that Mr. Toure won by a 72% votes margin. Others elected are Albert Morweh-vice President, Tete Johnson-Secretary and Richard Neal-Treasure.

Like President Obama, Mr. Toure is said to have ran on the promise of change. In spite of the usual anti-Mandingo slogan, Mr.Toure successfully persuaded many electorates with his outstanding academic credentials to show the need and his ability to effect the much needed change within the organization. Many believe that he will make the desired change a reality and take the organization to a whole new level.
Those defeated during Sunday’s election are Youjay Innis and Charlotte Anderson presidential and vice presidential candidates respectively.
