Human Rights Group Says
Guinea Military Committing Armed Robbery

Human Rights Watch says soldiers in Guinea are responsible for a series of armed robberies since the military seized power in a December coup following the death of long-time president Lansana Conte.
During the past three months, Human Rights Watch has documented 19 cases of armed robbery, extortion, rape, and intimidation against lawyers and judges by members of Guinea's military. Read detail

On Saturday, April 25, 2009, my beloved wife, Mayamu Kromah and I invited few community members to our daughter, Madusu Kromah’s 2nd birth anniversary. INTERPOL Issues Warrant for Yeaten's Arrest

MONROVIA,INTERPOL has issued a writ of arrest for Benjamin Yeaten, former aide de camp of ex-president Charles Taylor on charges of murder and first degree felony.

This follows on the heels of an indictment by First Judicial Circuit, Criminal Assizes “A” for Montserrado County.

UNITED NATIONS (AFP) — A UN panel of experts warns that violence may escalate in Ivory Coast, particularly in the north, as parties are rearming despite an UN arms embargo imposed since 2004.
"Despite the arms embargo, the parties to the conflict remain sufficiently heavily armed to engage in sustained armed hostilities and some are rearming," said a letter from the experts sent to the president of the UN Security Council.  Read

Once again, the Mandingoes Minnesota Community continues to show love and fraternity to each other. Last Sunday, April 12, 2009 was the birthday celebration of Baby Jenebu Konneh, a year old daughter of Fatoumata Kamissoko and A. Konneh of Conakry, Guinea.

The celebration was glamorous, and the site jam park. It was beyond one imagination that the birthday party for a year old child was so well attended by Mandingoes of all ages at the Eden Park ball room in Brooklyn Park. See Photos!
Police Seized 1,261
Single-barrel Shots in Paynesville

MONROVIA,At least 1,261 rounds of single-barrel gun were seized by police upon tip off in 72nd, Paynesville, Wednesday, with about five arrest made including a female.
